The Odd Couple

After rejoining the dating world, a quirky, idealistic divorce lawyer helps an anomalous playboy learn a thing or two about love, only to find she’s the one doing all the learning.

An arduous divorce hearing has TABITHA (40s), a quirky idealist on the verge of throwing in the proverbial towel on her love life until she meets anomalous playboy bartender ALEX (30s), who needs to learn a thing or two about his self-worth. 

After a failed hookup, Tabitha and Alex decide to lend each other a hand in discovering love. Alex coaches Tabitha on the intricacies of online dating, self-care, and how to see the fun in life, whereas Tabitha coaches Alex on self-awareness, stepping out of his comfort zone, and connecting with someone on a deeper level. Both seem to find what they’re looking for: Tabitha falls for her dentist,  DR. RAMIREZ (40s), and Alex connects with a local bookstore worker EMILY (30s). Things are going well until they both inadvertently get in their own way. Tabitha acts as if she’s better than dating the likes of a dentist, and Alex thinks with his dick and not his heart. Tabitha quickly blames Alex for her inability to see what’s right in front of her. She destroys their friendship and almost loses her job before realizing her actions and the value Alex brought to her life. 

Tabitha patches things up with Alex. After some words of encouragement, she sets out to apologize to Dr. Ramirez and win him back. Along the way, she visits Emily to advocate for Alex. Tabitha wins over Dr. Ramirez, and Alex proves to Emily that there’s more than meets the eye. They both live happily ever after with the right people, and keep a solid friendship with each other making them “the odd couple.”
