Biography
Ryan Johnston is a proud single-parent dad who has a love for all things entertainment. Ryan graduated from the Vancouver Film School Screenwriting department, where he not only graduated at the top of his class he also discovered a love for acting.
Ryan stuck around Vancouver and worked as a bartender. During that time, he was approached by an agent named John Davies of John Davies Talent. Seeing something special in Ryan, John began sending Ryan for commercial auditions. On two separate occasions, Ryan was placed on hold, but unfortunately, he didn't get either role.
Ryan soon moved back to Saskatchewan, where he became the managing partner for a bar chain with locations across Canada. Feeling as though something was missing, Ryan quit his job in the bar industry and began chasing his dream of being an Actor/Screenwriter.
Ryan is proudly represented by Edge Agency and the amazing Lisa Marie Schwartz.

1998 - 2002
Ryan graduated with not so flying colors. Ryan took part in improv competitions and various plays. For a guy like Ryan, it was all about the experiences and the friendships made along the way.
Vancouver Film School
2006 - 2007
Ryan graduated from the VFS Screenwriting intensive program. During that time, he took an acting class where he discovered his profound love for acting.
