Our Story

Ryan Johnston is an actor, screenwriter, and independent producer.

After studying screenwriting at the Vancouver Film School, Ryan moved to Mexico, where he lived on the beach and worked in nightclubs and resorts. Returning to Canada, Ryan continued to work in the bar industry, where he owned and operated thirteen bars across the country.

For the last five years, Ryan has focused on writing and producing. He has created and written features and sitcoms in the Comedy, Action, and Animation genres.
 

Ryan and his creative partner, Jack Jerz, self-published their first graphic novel. Since publication, Ryan has turned the IP into an Adult Comedy Animated series on YouTube.

Ryan has also adapted the novel "All Men Are Assholes... And All Women Are Crazy" written by the talented Jordan West. Noah Jones of FWRD Management is shopping around the screenplay and back-pocketed TV series.

Ryan's first Animated feature-length, Hallows Eve High, is rated in the top one percent of all features on what was Coverfly and placed as a Semi-finalist at the 2024 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition.

In his downtime, Ryan paints canvas and works on his adult non-fiction novel about love, transgression, and self-discovery, a memoir of his experiences growing from independent fuckboy to single parent dad.
